National Careers Week: Raising Profile (2016 – present)

National Careers Week (NCW) is the biggest celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activities at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education.

Aims:

  • Develop CEIAG resources (linked to the Gatsby Benchmarks) for students and educators from KS1 to KS5 – raising aspirations, developing skills and empowering all.
  • Create resources and campaigns to raise industry engagement and generate sponsorship from a wide range of potential funders.
  • Produce and implement promotional campaigns to generate consistent exposure and interest across a variety of target audiences, stakeholders and platforms.

Our role:

Sole creative directors of National Careers Week; producing all educational resources, marketing campaigns, video, photography, digital content, media and web/online concepts for the whole campaign.

Outcomes:

  • Over 55,000 downloads of resources during NCW 2021 – enabling young people, educators and businesses to benefit from a wide range of bespoke activities.
  • 44,074 tweets during the week with a reach of 275,085,882 potential users.
  • The NCW 2021 Virtual Careers Fair had over 510,000 unique visitors from Monday – Sunday.
  • Official partnership and endorsement from the Department for Education and Ofsted in promoting the use of NCW resources in education settings across the country.
