West Yorkshire Combined Authority: Digital Learning Resources (2019 – present)

Delivered by Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), FutureGoals provides inspiration and support to help people of all ages choose their career paths, give them the right skills and experience to start work or change career and provide vital links between education and employers.

Aims:

  • Raise awareness of the sectors, skills and opportunities across the Leeds City Region.
  • Engage key audiences and a variety of stakeholders (young people, adults and organisations) through high-quality and innovative CEIAG programmes.
  • Position the Leeds City Region as a first-choice destination to live, study and work through a variety of promotion and marketing campaigns.

 

Our role:

  • Creative sector – highlighting opportunities and busting myths surrounding the roles, skills and employers within this sector.
  • Virtual learning – a variety of online projects and resources including; virtual work experience, careers fairs, inspiration events, employer festivals and CEIAG toolkits.
  • Parental engagement – interactive resources to support parents/carers with the exploration of their child’s passions, skills and local career opportunities.
  • Home learning – a series of resources focussing on the in-demand skills across the region, whilst linking into key LMI, decision-making models and general employability awareness.
  • Marketing and promotion – producing a range of media across a variety of platforms, promoting the resource platform to all key stakeholders and target audience groups.

 

FutureGoals is a campaign and website that supports individuals of all ages in the region to feel inspired about their career. The website is a gateway to all regional employment and skills programmes. Information and resources enable individuals to explore career pathways, providing information about skills and sectors to help make good, well-informed career decisions. Engaging Education are specialists at creating innovative and impactful ways to communicate with the wide range of people that the FutureGoals resources and campaigns support. Their specialism in education, and knowledge of the reactive world that we live in, has driven real impact in the campaigns that we have worked together on.
